The Tuck Box

I’ve eaten at Tuck Box lots of times over the years. It was always a charming experience with good sandwiches and tea.I was disheartened to hear that the owner of Tuck Box has put the lives of people in this area at risk by staying open for dine-in during COVID 19. This is a selfish, narrow-minded action. I have supported take out businesses extensively during the shutdown. I will never eat at Tuck Box again. Other businesses did their part to keep people safe, and I did my part to give them my business to support them during this temporary hardship.Instead of temporarily losing business, Tuck Box has permanently lost my business.Congrats, guys, you played yourselves.

Breakfast and lunch table service in a cute fairy tale building in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. It's not just a cup of tea kind of place, but try the scone trio! They're made in house and are very tasty. The Welsh Rarebit was great, the service staff very friendly and attentive.
